Key responsibility 1: Primary Sales Oversight (Marie Stopes to Distributors)
- Monitor all distributors purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely documentation, invoicing, and delivery.
- Coordinate with sales reps and distributors to ensure the alignment of physical stock movement with system records.
- Verify stock issuance and confirm delivery and receipts between Marie Stopes and distributor networks.
- Maintain a central sales dashboard to track performance by distributor, product, region, and period.
Key responsibility 2: Secondary Sales Oversight (Distributor to Retail/Wholesaler)
- Supervise sales representatives’ distribution field to wholesalers and retailers.
- Verify secondary sales reports submitted by reps against distributor records.
- Conduct physical spot-checks and retail outlet visits to ensure sales authenticity and product visibility.
- Monitor sales rep route plans, outlet coverage, and adherence to territory mapping.
Key responsibility 3: Sales Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain integrated reporting mechanisms for primary and secondary sales data.
- Ensure weekly updates of sales performance dashboards and variance reports.
- Identify sales gaps, bottlenecks, or suspicious patterns and recommend corrective actions.
Key responsibility 4: Compliance & Quality Control
- Enforce compliance to product storage and handling standards at every stage.
- Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory standards and internal protocols.
- Assist in training and refresher sessions for sales reps and distributors.
Key responsibility 5: Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with logistics, commercial, and M&E teams to streamline data flow.
- Facilitate performance reviews for distributors and reps.
- Escalate and resolve field-level issues affecting product flow.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/Medical Laboratory Science/Public Health, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in medical/pharmaceutical sales supervision or field sales management.
- Hands-on experience in managing multi-tiered distribution models (primary and secondary sales structures).
- Familiarity with NGOs or social marketing organizations is desirable.
- Strong proficiency in sales tracking, stock verification, and route-to-market analysis.
- Advanced use of Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.
