Retail & Digital Banking - Dar es salaam

Key Responsibilities/Tasks

Identify prospective banking customers from local corporates, SMEs, NGOs, institutions, and social groups for onboarding to the Bank.

Market and sell other Bank products as may be assigned from time to time.

Represent the Bank as the first point of contact in the assigned market and relay customer inquiries, complaints, or market feedback to the designated Bank Officer.

Maintain accurate sales records and submit them to the responsible Bank Officer to enable timely payment of commissions.

Adhere to the Bank's KYC/AML guidelines, procedures for account opening, and agent banking regulations.

Perform other marketing-related tasks as assigned.

Comply with the Bank’s code of conduct and relevant laws.

Promote POS, QR Code/Tan QR activation, and bancassurance services to eligible customers.

Risk Management:

Ensure effective adoption and utilization of risk management tools

Drive remediation of risk management exceptions identified during audit or risk reviews

Promote risk management culture

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Marketing and sales skills

Interpersonal skills

Negotiation skills

Communication skills

Research skills

Knowledge on Microsoft Applications

Academic / Professional Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or any related field

Working Experience Required

A at least of 1 year of experience in sales

Sales in banking industry is an added advantage
