Program Overview
The Silverleaf Academy Fellowship Program is a 6-month intensive teacher development program focused on hands-on classroom experience, mentorship, and modern teaching practice.
Since 2024, the program has trained 98 teachers, with an 81% graduation rate and 78% placed in full-time roles across Silverleaf campuses, while 3% joined international and government schools.
Cohort 4 starts on 1 July 2026 with 50 fellows.
What Fellows Will Gain
- Co-teaching experience from day one

Eligibility
Applicants should have:
- Certification as a teacher, including Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Montessori qualification
- 0–3 years of experience preferred
- Passion for teaching children aged 1–12 years
- Growth mindset and basic digital skills
Important Note
Upon successful participation:
Fellows who commit to the 1-year service obligation will receive the program under a fully funded/refund-based model
Fellows who do not commit to the 1-year service obligation will be required to pay the full program fee
Roles And Responsibilities Of Fellows
Teaching And Classroom Support
- Support classroom teaching alongside lead teachers
- Assist in lesson preparation and classroom management
- Co-teach and gradually lead classroom activities
Professional Development
- Participate in training, coaching, and mentorship sessions
- Apply feedback to improve teaching practice
- Complete all fellowship requirements and assessments
Student Support
- Support students’ academic and social development
- Promote a positive and student-centred learning environment
School Culture And Teamwork
- Participate in school and co-curricular activities
- Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and teamwork
- Maintain a growth mindset and passion for education
Technology And Innovation
- Use technology and innovative teaching approaches to support learning
Fellowship Commitment
Fellows under the funded pathway are expected to serve Silverleaf Academy for 12 months after successful completion of the program.
