The School of St Jude is pleased to announce a job opportunity for a cleaner for Tanzanians with the required qualifications.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare tea / porridge, fruits, and lunch for students and staff, such as vegetables, rice, beans, meat, and other foods according to the guided meal schedule.
- Serve food into containers, namely dishes, buckets, trays, and hand it over to student table leaders.
- Report to the teacher or staff member on duty if students have left the dining hall or if utensils are dirty.
- Keep utensils and other kitchen equipment in good condition and clean at all times.
- Ensure the protection and safety of students assisting with kitchen work.
- Work with the head cook/his or her assistant to ensure that no unauthorized person or student enters the kitchen.

- Experience in garden and flower maintenance

- Ability to maintain the environment well, including using a grass-cutting machine.
- Experience in environmental maintenance, including gardens, flowers, and collection and separation of waste.
- Must live in an area close to the School of St Jude.
- Tanzanian citizen aged not less than 28 years.
- Customer service skills and the ability to follow work procedures.
