Job Purpose:
Work closely with Branches and Head Office Sales Team in monitoring and growing Business Liability portfolio to achieve overall deposit targets of the Department.
Main Responsibilities:
- Take a leading role in mobilizing deposits throughout the zone (covering Branches, Business Centre's, and Hubs)
- Follow up with Relationship Managers/Officer and Branch Managers on execution of potential pipelines Liabilities to become successful deals.
- Actively seek to improve customer experience through digitization of payment/collection platforms
- Take a leading role in guiding Relationship Managers/Relationship Officers in growing and mobilizing deposits from MSME segment.
- Prepare budget and projections for the Business deposits portfolio.
- Proactively engage with external stakeholders by strengthening business partnerships from various business associations and managing top depositors' business relationship
- Proactively engage with other internal stakeholders (Marketing/PR/Card Business/Compliance/Quality & Control/other business unit) to provide support in coordination of business events and customers engagement.
- Coordinate with Relationship Managers and Branch Managers in organizing business banking events, sponsorship events and campaigns.
- Represent NMB in all customer forums and ensure the best relationship between NMB and customers in the zones through networking and excellent service.
- Ensure that dormancy rate is kept at minimum
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong sales management skills.
- Excellent Digital/Online Payment Skills
- Good customer relationship and sound understanding of bank's products, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Flexi cube and Bank procedures.
- Excellent client management skills.
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
- Conversant with Digital Innovations, Internet Banking, Digital Payments (NMB Mkononi, FlexMalipo, QR Codes, and Card Payments).
- Good communication and presentation with high proficiency in the use of (English and Kiswahili).
- Good business management, time management, leadership, coaching and team building skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Information Technology, Accounting, Banking, Economics, or other relevant field
- MBA will be an added advantage
- 4 years' experience in Customer Relationship management, Digital payment and collection solutions.
- Experience in managing sector associations, SACCOS and NGOs partnerships
- Experience in handling payment/collection projects through digitization.
- Up-to-date knowledge of sector business market in Tanzania
