Job Overview:
Our client, a leading Oil Marketing Company (OMC) is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and results-driven professional to join as Head of Sales Manager - Lubricants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive sustainable growth of the lubricants business.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a sales force of not less than 23 employees distributed across all regions of Tanzania.
- Drive sales performance, market penetration, customer acquisition, and customer retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
- Develop sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports for management.
- Ensure achievement of sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business growth and operational excellence.
- Coach and develop the sales team to maximize productivity and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or any other related field.
- Additional professional qualifications in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in an Oil Marketing Company (OMC), preferably in lubricants sales.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a geographically dispersed sales team.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, increasing market share, and achieving business targets.
- Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and sales reporting tools.
- Age: Between 35 and 45 years.
Personal Attributes
- Results-oriented with strong commercial acumen,
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Strategic thinker with excellent planning and execution skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Tanzania.
