Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for a Country Lead: Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding position, to join the People & Culture team at CCBA. The role will report to the People & Culture Director.

CCBA is the 8th largest Coca-Cola? authorised bottler?in the world by revenue and the largest on the continent. It accounts for over 40% of all Coca-Cola?ready-to-drink beverages?sold in Africa by volume. With over 14 000 employees in Africa, CCBA?group?services more than 800 000 customers with a host of international and local brands. CCBA group operates in 14 countries: South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Botswana, Zambia, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi and the islands of Comoros and Mayotte.

Responsibilities or duties

Key Purpose:

To lead the development and execution of the country's talent acquisition and employer branding strategy by attracting, selecting and hiring top talent while strengthening the organization's employer value proposition to position the company as an employer of choice, enabling sustainable business growth and organizational success.

Key Outputs and Accountabilities include, but not limited to:

  • Utilize diverse sourcing methods leveraging online job boards, social media, networking events and employee referrals to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Screen and assess candidates ensuring effective resume screenings were done, initial interviews were had and coordinate comprehensive candidate assessments to evaluate qualifications, skills and cultural fit.
  • Manage End-to-End Recruitment, overseeing the recruitment process from initial contact to offer acceptance, including scheduling interviews, conducting background checks and negotiating job offers to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with P&C business partners to facilitate smooth onboarding and transition of new hires into the organization.
  • Integrate insights from employee surveys to inform country-specific culture plans and drive positive employee experiences.
  • Using the Group Framework provided, translate and execute a holistic employer branding strategy aligned with organizational goals and values, tailored to specific country nuances.
  • Translate a compelling EVP aligned to our broader business EVP that reflects the organization’s core values and addresses unique local workforce segment needs.
  • Build and leverage a network of brand ambassadors to promote the employer brand.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics, providing regular reports on hiring progress, candidate feedback, and local market trends to inform talent acquisition strategies.
  • Stay updated with local industry best practices, legal requirements, and market trends related to talent acquisition and recruitment in country, ensuring tactical actions are adapted for optimal resourcing ahead of demand.
  • Track key metrics related to talent attraction, retention, performance, and growth within targeted segments to ensure effective segmentation strategies.
  • Adhere to legal requirements and promote diversity and inclusion within the recruitment process.
  • Generate engaging content showcasing the organization's culture, values, and employee experiences across various platforms.
  • Maintain and curate the company’s social media profiles to enhance online presence and actively engage with potential candidates.

Qualifications or requirements

Qualifications:

The incumbent should have at least a Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.

Experience needed

Experience:

4-8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 5 years in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or Talent Management.
