JOB DETAILS:

Steward Shift Leader

Department: Stewarding

Reports To: Steward Supervisor

Job Purpose

Lead stewarding staff during assigned shifts and ensure cleaning operations are completed efficiently and according to hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate daily cleaning assignments.
• Supervise dishwashing and cleaning activities.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor waste disposal procedures.
• Ensure cleaning chemicals are used safely.
• Report equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain cleanliness of stewarding areas.
• Support banquet and restaurant operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Operations.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in stewarding.
