Job description

The Senior Treasury Dealer will be responsible for managing treasury sales activities, leading a team of corporate and retail dealers, monitoring foreign exchange performance, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the profitability and growth of treasury business.

The role involves developing and implementing treasury sales strategies, managing client expectations, monitoring market trends, and working closely with product development managers to support customer acquisition, retention, and business growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a team of highly motivated corporate and retail dealers.
  • Prepare and implement a broad treasury sales strategy.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports.
  • Analyze foreign exchange market trends and treasury department performance.
  • Manage existing clients’ expectations regarding foreign exchange and other related services.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and follow up on policy changes by the Central Bank.
  • Prepare and manage branch and customer visits for each Treasury sales staff member.
  • Make physical visits to both existing and prospective customers.
  • Implement an efficient pricing mechanism to enhance the profitability of Treasury business and achieve revenue targets.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement a management process or platform to ensure effective tracking, monitoring, and evaluation of FX business.
  • Work with product development managers in the development and execution of marketing initiatives for the acquisition, retention, and growth of the target customer base.

Daily responsibilities

  • Prepare daily treasury sales reports.
  • Ensure customers receive daily FX market updates.
  • Perform daily monitoring and reporting of FX and the Bank’s position.
  • Provide FX references to branches on time after deal confirmation.
  • Monitor dealing limits utilization within the unit.
  • Conduct daily front office FX position reconciliation.
  • Establish and monitor daily treasury customer complaints.
  • Conduct direct sales and marketing through telephone calls with existing clients and new prospects.

Minimum position qualification requirements

Academic and professional qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in B.Com Account.

Professional qualifications

ACI Dealing Certificate.

Master’s Degree

Master’s Degree in Business Administration – Finance.

Experience requirements

Total minimum years of experience required: 5 years

Minimum number of years: 2 years

Experience area 2

Area: Sales

Minimum number of years: 3 years
