Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead follow-up.
  • Meet prospective clients to understand their business requirements and challenges.
  • Present and demonstrate software solutions effectively to potential customers.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales process.
  • Coordinate with internal technical and implementation teams for successful project handover.
  • Assist clients during software implementation, onboarding, and basic user training.
  • Follow up with customers for feedback, support requirements, renewals, and upselling opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
  • Stay updated on company products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.

Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or any IT Field
  • Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
  • Up to 1 year of experience in Sales, Business Development, Customer Service, or Software Sales is an advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
  • Basic technical aptitude and ability to understand software products quickly.
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship management abilities.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office and Email
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to build a career in software sales.
  • Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and demonstrations.
  • Exposure to ERP, HRMS, Payroll, Time Attendance, or other business software solutions.
  • Previous internship or sales experience in the IT/software industry.
  • Understanding of software implementation and customer onboarding processes.
  • Experience in conducting product demonstrations or customer presentations.
