Job Purpose
As a Regional Sales Manager, you are accountable for driving sustainable revenue growth, market expansion, and commercial performance across your region.
You will lead from the front — setting the sales strategy, building a high-performing team, and developing strong, long-term customer and partner relationships. This role is not only about hitting targets; it is about owning the market, identifying opportunities ahead of competitors, and ensuring Korridor continues to grow its footprint and relevance across territories.
You will work cross-functionally to align sales execution with product, operations, and customer needs — turning strategy into measurable results.
Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a clear regional sales strategy aligned to business objectives and growth targets
- Drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and customer expansion across existing and new corridors
- Identify and unlock new market opportunities, channels, and customer segments
- Own and drive the end-to-end sales pipeline, from acquisition through to retention and growth
Leadership & Team Performance
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team to consistently exceed targets
- Set clear KPIs, performance standards, and accountability structures
- Build capability within the team through ongoing coaching, training, and performance management
- Foster a results-driven, high-energy sales culture aligned to company’s values
Customer & Partner Management
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key customers and partners
- Act as a senior escalation point for key accounts and complex commercial engagements
- Drive customer retention, satisfaction, and increased utilization of Korridor solutions
Market Intelligence & Insights
- Analyses sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends to inform strategy and decision-making
- Monitor competitor activity and proactively respond with commercial initiatives and positioning
- Provide regular, data-driven insights to leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Operations, Product, and IT to ensure alignment on go-to-market initiatives
- Support the rollout of new products, services, and corridor expansions
- Ensure seamless execution between sales strategy and operational delivery
Regional Ownership
- Travel across territories to drive performance, support teams, and engage key stakeholders
- Take full ownership of regional performance, reporting, and execution discipline
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years’ experience in a sales leadership role with team management responsibility (slightly elevated from original)
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in customer-centric or commercial environments
- Transport or logistics industry experience is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license and passport
- Commercial acumen – strong understanding of revenue drivers, margins, and growth levers
- Leadership & coaching – ability to build and scale high-performing teams
- Strategic thinking – able to translate market insights into actionable plans
- Relationship management – builds trust with customers and stakeholders at all levels
- Data-driven decision-making – uses insights to guide performance and strategy
- Execution focus – delivers results with urgency and accountability
