Mogo Credit Limited (hereafter referred to as Mogo) is a microfinance firm licensed in Tanzania by the Bank of Tanzania (BOT) as a Boda Boda and Tuk-Tuk (Bajaji) Credit Provider.
JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented GPS Technician responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining GPS tracking devices in various types of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Install GPS tracking devices in cars, trucks, and other vehicles.
- Conduct wiring, mounting, and system configuration of GPS units.
- Test installed devices to ensure proper functionality and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty GPS units and related electrical issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of installed systems.
- Maintain accurate installation records and reports.
- Provide basic training and support to clients on GPS system usage.
- Ensure all installations comply with company standards and safety regulations.
Performance Indicators
- Quality and accuracy of installations
- Number of successful installations completed
- Customer satisfaction ratings
- Response time for troubleshooting and repairs
WHAT YOU NEED
- Diploma or certificate in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in vehicle electrical systems or GPS installation (preferred).
- Knowledge of automotive wiring and electronics.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.

OTHER
Working Conditions
- Field-based role involving travel to client locations.
- May require working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.
