Background
Events Representative at AB InBev Africa is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about brand marketing, consumer engagement, and event management. Based in Dar es Salaam, the role focuses on planning and executing brand-led consumer experiences that strengthen brand loyalty, increase market share, and drive sales growth for SAB beer and cider brands. The successful candidate will coordinate promotional events, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure every activation delivers a memorable customer experience while supporting business objectives.
This position requires strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills to successfully coordinate events, manage suppliers, and generate valuable consumer insights that enhance brand performance.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and report on experiential brand activation events within the assigned region.
- Deliver engaging consumer experiences that reinforce brand identity and increase customer loyalty.
- Plan, coordinate, and report on regional sales-driven events in accordance with company execution guidelines.
- Support initiatives that generate incremental sales volume and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales and brand teams.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with external stakeholders such as stadium owners, event organizers, and community partners.
- Manage SAB beer account procedures, including FBIs, stock management, and promotional deals.
- Collect and analyze consumer insights to understand customer behavior and brand engagement.
- Coordinate and manage third-party event suppliers and service providers.
- Ensure events are delivered efficiently, on time, and in line with company standards.
Qualifications Required
