JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor leads the day-to-day warehouse operations, including picking, loading, invoicing, and inventory management. This role is responsible for setting performance expectations, ensuring product and employee safety, and coordinating shipping and receiving activities .
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day warehouse operations, including product handling and storage .
- Coordinate and execute the unloading and loading of materials .
- Partner with coordinators to ensure proper execution of picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management .
- Review and ensure the accuracy of warehouse documents and shipments .
- Maintain and report on inventory accuracy, aging, and order status .
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and regulatory standards .
- Make personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions .
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience .
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment .
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience .
- One year of supervisory experience is preferred .
- Previous warehouse management systems experience and SAP or similar ERP experience are preferred .
