Vocational Instructor – Tourism and Tour Guiding

Job Description

The Vocational Instructor – Tourism and Tour Guiding will prepare trainees for careers in tourism by delivering practical and classroom instruction in tour operations, customer service, destination knowledge, and guiding techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver competency-based tourism and tour guiding training.
• Organize practical field learning activities where applicable.
• Teach customer service, communication, and hospitality principles.
• Assess trainee competencies and maintain academic records.
• Develop training resources and lesson plans.
• Promote professionalism within the tourism industry.

Requirements

• Minimum NVA Level 3 in Tourism and Tour Guiding from a VETA institution.
• Vocational Teachers Training Certificate (VTTC).
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Computer literacy and excellent English communication skills.
• Strong presentation and facilitation abilities.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: professional certificate
