Vocational Instructor – Saloon and Beauty Therapy

Job Description

The Vocational Instructor – Saloon and Beauty Therapy will provide practical and theoretical training in hairdressing, beauty therapy, skincare, nail care, and salon management.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver competency-based training in beauty and salon services.
• Demonstrate professional beauty treatment techniques.
• Supervise practical sessions and assess trainee performance.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards within training facilities.
• Prepare lesson plans and training materials.
• Guide trainees on customer care and professional ethics.
• Maintain salon equipment and training resources.

Requirements

• Minimum NVA Level 3 in Saloon and Beauty Therapy from a VETA institution.
• Vocational Teachers Training Certificate (VTTC).
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Computer literacy and good command of English.
• Excellent interpersonal and instructional skills.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24
