Position purpose

The Sales Representative Intern will support the Sales and Business Development team in expanding market reach, strengthening customer relationships, and contributing to revenue growth initiatives.

This role provides practical exposure to:

  • Sales pipeline management

  • Negotiation processes
  • Market intelligence gathering

The intern will work under supervision while progressively building professional sales competencies.

Key duties and responsibilities

Business development support

The intern will assist the Sales and Business Development team by supporting activities related to identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in identifying and profiling prospective clients and business opportunities
  • Supporting market mapping and segmentation activities
  • Participating in client visits and sales meetings
  • Contributing to the preparation of quotations and proposals

Sales operations and lead management

The intern will support day-to-day sales operations and assist in managing sales leads from different channels.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in tracking and managing sales leads from various channels
  • Conducting structured follow-ups under guidance
  • Maintaining accurate customer data and updating sales records
  • Supporting the preparation of weekly and monthly sales performance reports

Client relationship support

The intern will help maintain positive customer relationships and support communication with clients after sales engagements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting after-sales communication and customer satisfaction follow-ups
  • Assisting in resolving basic customer concerns through coordination with internal teams
  • Observing and learning structured negotiation techniques

Market intelligence and reporting

The intern will contribute to gathering and analyzing market information to support business decisions.

  • Collecting and analyzing competitor information
  • Supporting basic market trend analysis
  • Preparing simple analytical summaries for management review
