Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Doctor (MD) to provide high-quality primary or specialized care to patients. The MD will be responsible for diagnosing illnesses, creating treatment plans, prescribing medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate possesses excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Diagnostics & Treatment:
- Conduct thorough patient examinations (medical history, physical exams) to identify health issues.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-rays, MRIs, biopsies).
- Diagnose acute and chronic conditions and formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and rehabilitation protocols.
Patient Management:
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide emergency care and life-saving interventions as required.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor residents, interns, and mid-level providers (NPs/PAs).
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records using the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital infection control policies.
- Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives and peer review processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Training:
Successful completion of a Residency program in [Insert Specialty] (3-5 years).
Licensure:
Active, unrestricted State Medical License. DEA Registration.
Certification:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in [Insert Specialty].
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent bedside manner; ability to handle high-stress situations; proficiency with EMR systems.
