Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Motorcycle Receiving & Inspection
- Receive all incoming vehicles (Boda & Tuktuk) delivered to the branch.
- Conduct detailed inspections of received vehicles to verify quantity, condition, and completeness.
- Confirm that chassis numbers and engine numbers match delivery notes.
- Immediately report any discrepancies, damages, or missing units to the Inventory officer.
- Ensure all received vehicles are properly tagged and recorded.
2. Inventory Management & Stock Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all vehicles under branch custody.
- Conduct daily physical stock counts of:
- New vehicles (Boda & Tuktuk)
- Repossessed vehicles (Boda & Tuktuk)
- Reserved vehicles (Boda & Tuktuk)
- Unsold inventory ((Boda & Tuktuk)
- Investigate and report stock variances promptly.
- Ensure motorcycles are stored safely and organized according to company standards.
- Monitor inventory movement and maintain complete audit trails.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and submit all receiving documentation (Delivery/ Dispatch notes) accurately and on time.
- Ensure delivery notes are verified and submitted to the Inventory Officer immediately after delivery.
- Maintain proper filing of logistics and inventory records.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly branch wise stock reports as instructed by Inventory officer
- Keep accurate records of all stock transfers, repossessions, and inventory adjustments.
4. Pre-Sale Inspection Management
- Conduct pre-sale inspections on vehicles before customer delivery.
- Verify vehicle condition, completeness of accessories and functionality.
- Complete and maintain inspection checklists and supporting documentation.
- Ensure only approved and inspected motorcycles are released for customer delivery.
5. Repossessed Motorcycle Management
- Receive and record all repossessed vehicles returned to the branch.
- Conduct condition assessments and document vehicles status.
- Update inventory records to reflect repossessed stock.
- Ensure proper storage and safeguarding of repossessed vehicles.
6. Compliance & Asset Security
- Ensure adherence to company inventory and logistics policies.
- Maintain accountability for all vehicles under branch control.
- Support internal and external stock audits.
- Implement controls to prevent inventory losses, theft, or unauthorized movements.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, inventory management, warehousing, or stock control.
- Experience handling vehicle or motorcycle inventory is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
