Job Summary:
The International Trade Assistant supports the export/import process by handling documentation, logistics, and compliance with international trade regulations. This role ensures smooth cross-border transactions.
Responsibilities or duties:
- Prepare shipping documents (Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading, Certificates of Origin).
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws and Incoterms.
- Track shipments and update clients/stakeholders on delivery status.
- Manage Letters of Credit (LCs) and payment documentation.
- Maintain trade records and databases.
Qualifications or requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, Logistics, or Business.
- Knowledge of customs procedures and trade finance.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience needed:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in imports/exports.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 36
Level of Education: bachelor degree
