Divisional Human Resources Business Partner (DHRBP)

BRAC Tanzania Finance Limited is seeking a qualified and motivated Divisional Human Resources Business Partner (DHRBP) to join its team in Mbeya. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting decentralized Human Resource operations to enhance efficiency and productivity across the organization. The role requires close collaboration with management teams to align HR initiatives with business objectives while ensuring compliance with labor laws, safeguarding standards, and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess current and future workforce requirements to ensure the right talent is available at the right time.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to implement effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Support employee retention and engagement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and managers.
  • Align HR programs and initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to managers and employees.
  • Support performance management processes across the division.
  • Facilitate employee career development and engagement activities.
  • Work closely with the Learning and Development team to enhance employee capabilities.
  • Support the design and implementation of training and capacity-building programs.
  • Evaluate HR initiatives and recommend improvements for better effectiveness.
  • Ensure HR policies remain up to date and aligned with organizational needs.
  • Monitor emerging HR trends and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR regulations, and company policies.
  • Promote safeguarding standards and ensure a safe work environment free from abuse, harassment, and exploitation.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • At least two (2) years of experience as an HR Officer or in a similar Human Resources role.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions, policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high level of discretion.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
