Clinical Officers
Number of Posts
Five (5)
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Examining, diagnosing, and managing patients according to national treatment guidelines.
- Prescribing appropriate medications and treatment plans.
- Providing emergency medical care and first aid services.
- Referring patients to higher levels of care where necessary.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and medical documentation.
- Participating in health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education activities.
- Collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring adherence to professional ethics, hospital policies, and Ministry of Health guidelines.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the Medical Officer In-Charge.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Hold a Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution.
- Be registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT).
- Possess a valid Practicing Licence.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be computer literate.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and commitment to patient care.
Experience
- Previous working experience in a hospital or health facility is an added advantage. Fresh graduates with valid registration and practicing license are encouraged to apply.
