Job Purpose

To coordinate and provide ICT support services across all assigned zones and branches, ensuring availability, reliability, security, and effective operation of branch ICT infrastructure, end-user working tools, office machines, ATMs, POS devices, network connectivity, and related banking systems.

The role is responsible for ensuring timely resolution of ICT incidents, preventive maintenance, ICT asset management, vendor coordination, SLA monitoring, escalation of unresolved issues, and support of branch technology projects to ensure uninterrupted branch operations and quality service delivery to customers.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and provide ICT support to all branches within assigned zones to ensure continuous availability and operational readiness of branch ICT services.
  • Act as the first point of technical coordination for branch ICT incidents and service requests within the assigned zones.
  • Ensure availability and proper functioning of branch ICT infrastructure, end-user devices, office machines, ATMs, POS devices, and network connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ICT incidents and coordinate escalations with Infrastructure, Network, Applications, Cyber Security, ATM/POS teams, and vendors.
  • Implement and monitor ICT security controls, software updates, antivirus updates, and compliance with Bank ICT policies.
  • Coordinate installation, relocation, upgrades, and commissioning of ICT equipment for new branches, relocations, renovations, and technology projects.
  • Support ATM and POS operations by coordinating maintenance, upgrades, service restoration, and vendor support activities.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance of ICT assets, working tools, and office machines across assigned branches.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of ICT assets and oversee asset lifecycle activities, including deployment, transfer, replacement, and retirement.
  • Monitor vendor performance and SLA compliance and escalate service delivery gaps for timely resolution.
  • Provide technical guidance and user support to branch staff on ICT systems, applications, and working tools.
  • Prepare regular zonal ICT support reports covering incidents, service availability, maintenance activities, asset status, escalations, and outstanding issues.
  • Monitor recurring branch ICT issues and recommend preventive actions to improve service availability and reduce operational disruptions.
  • Support branch ICT audits, compliance reviews, inspections, and implementation of agreed corrective actions.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer systems technology or related academic field.
  • At least 2 years of ICT support experience in a banking or branch operations environment.
  • ICT Service Management ITILv3 certifications.
  • Microsoft Certifications/Network certifications will be added advantage.
  • Experience supporting branch ICT equipment, end-user working tools, office machines, POS, ATMs, and basic network connectivity.
  • Experience in incident management, escalation follow-up, vendor coordination, and ICT asset inventory management.
  • Ability to effectively support multiple branches within assigned zones while working in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong vendor coordination, SLA management, communication, and reporting skills, with the ability to work independently across multiple branches and zones.
  • Experience in branch ICT operations and support, including basic LAN/WAN infrastructure and branch connectivity support.
  • Proficiency in supporting end-user working tools, office machines, and coordinating POS and ATM support activities.
  • Strong knowledge of ICT service management and incident management, with excellent troubleshooting, technical support, incident resolution, and escalation skills.
