JOB DETAILS:

Spa Therapist

Department: Spa

Reports To: Spa Administrator / Spa Manager

Job Purpose

Provide professional spa treatments and wellness therapies that promote relaxation, health, and guest satisfaction while ensuring safety, hygiene, and exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapies and body treatments.
• Provide facials, body scrubs, wraps, and other spa treatments as offered by the hotel.
• Conduct guest consultations to determine treatment suitability.
• Explain treatment procedures and aftercare recommendations.
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after each session.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms and equipment.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of oils, creams, and treatment products.
• Promote spa packages and retail wellness products.
• Maintain accurate guest treatment records.
• Observe guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Report equipment malfunctions or product shortages.
• Comply with hotel policies, hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, or Spa Therapy.
• Valid professional certification in massage therapy or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a hotel, resort, or wellness spa.
• CPR and First Aid certification is an advantage.
