Responsibilities or duties

• Supervise, coordinate, and mentor a team of security officers, ensuring they perform their duties effectively and professionally.
• Prepare and manage duty rosters, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and posts.
• Conduct regular inspections and spot checks to ensure compliance with security protocols and post orders.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and security breaches, and prepare detailed written reports for management.
• Train new security officers on company policies, procedures, emergency response, and use of security equipment.
• Liaise with clients, management, and law enforcement agencies regarding security matters.
• Monitor attendance, performance, and discipline of security staff, and take corrective action when necessary.
• Ensure that all security equipment (e.g., radios, cameras, alarms) is in good working condition and report faults.
• Develop and implement security plans and risk assessments for special events or high-risk situations.
• Handle emergency situations, including coordinating evacuation plans and first aid response, and lead the team during crises.
• Review and verify daily reports and occurrence books submitted by security officers.
• Ensure that all security personnel adhere to health, safety, and ethical standards at all times.

Qualifications or requirements

• Must be a Tanzanian aged 18 – 45 years.
• Must have training from JKT, MG, JKU, etc.
• Education from Standard Seven for Security Officer, and Form Six, Certificate, Diploma or Degree for Supervisor.
• Must be willing to work in any region where you will be assigned.
• Must not have a criminal record history.
