Job Summary:

The Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of resort guests, employees, visitors, facilities, and assets. The role develops and manages security operations, emergency response procedures, access control systems, and safety programs while maintaining a welcoming and secure environment consistent with luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive resort security policies and procedures.
• Manage daily security operations covering guest areas, staff areas, beaches, parking areas, facilities, and restricted zones.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise security officers and contracted security personnel.
• Ensure effective access control procedures for guests, employees, suppliers, and contractors.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, surveillance equipment, and security technology.
• Conduct regular security inspections and risk assessments across the resort.
• Manage investigations related to theft, accidents, guest complaints, property damage, and security incidents.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for incidents such as fire, medical emergencies, severe weather, and evacuation situations.
• Coordinate with local authorities, emergency services, and security agencies when required.
• Conduct security and safety training for employees.
• Ensure beach safety procedures are implemented, including coordination with lifeguards and water activity teams.
• Maintain incident reports, security logs, and compliance documentation.
• Support guest safety initiatives while maintaining a friendly and professional hospitality approach.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of security experience, preferably in hotels, resorts, or high-end hospitality environments.
• Experience managing security teams and security operations.
• Knowledge of emergency response, investigations, and risk management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive situations professionally.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and security regulations.
• Physically fit and able to respond effectively during emergencies.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, and security management systems is an advantage.
