JOB DETAILS:
Pest Control Technician
Department: Pest Control
Reports To: Pest Control Supervisor
Job Purpose
Inspect, monitor, and treat hotel facilities for pests while ensuring safe application of pest control methods and maintaining a hygienic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections for insects, rodents, and other pests.
- Apply pesticides and other approved pest control treatments safely.
- Set up and monitor traps and bait stations.
- Identify pest entry points and recommend preventive measures.
- Maintain pest control equipment and tools.
- Complete treatment reports and inspection records.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Respond promptly to pest control requests from departments.
- Assist with educating employees on pest prevention practices.
- Report recurring pest issues to the Pest Control Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Pest Control, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Valid pest control certification or license (where required).
- Relevant experience in pest management.
