JOB DETAILS:
Irrigation Technician
Department: Garden
Reports To: Garden Supervisor
Job Purpose
Install, operate, inspect, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of the hotel's gardens and landscaped areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect irrigation systems daily.
- Install and repair irrigation pipes, valves, pumps, and sprinklers.
- Monitor water pressure and system performance.
- Adjust irrigation schedules according to weather conditions and landscaping requirements.
- Identify and repair leaks and damaged irrigation equipment.
- Maintain irrigation maintenance records.
- Ensure efficient water usage and conservation.
- Report major system failures promptly.
- Maintain tools and irrigation equipment.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Irrigation Technology, Plumbing, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Relevant experience maintaining irrigation systems.
