JOB DETAILS:

Chief Gardener

Department: Garden

Reports To: Engineering Manager / General Manager

Job Purpose

Plan, organize, and supervise all landscaping and gardening operations to ensure the hotel's gardens and outdoor spaces are maintained to the highest aesthetic and horticultural standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise all gardening and landscaping activities.
• Develop seasonal planting and landscaping programs.
• Supervise gardeners and irrigation personnel.
• Inspect gardens, lawns, trees, and ornamental plants regularly.
• Monitor plant health and implement pest and disease control measures.
• Manage gardening equipment and tools.
• Monitor inventory of plants, fertilizers, pesticides, and gardening supplies.
• Coordinate landscaping projects and garden improvements.
• Prepare work schedules and departmental reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture, Landscaping, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in landscaping or garden management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
