JOB DETAILS:

Assistant Pest Control Manager

Department: Pest Control

Reports To: Pest Control Manager / Hygiene Manager

Job Purpose

Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising all pest control operations to ensure effective prevention and control of pests throughout the hotel while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing pest control programs.
• Supervise pest control staff during daily operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, kitchens, restaurants, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Ensure safe handling and application of pesticides and pest control chemicals.
• Maintain accurate pest control records and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Kitchen, and Food & Beverage departments to eliminate pest risks.
• Investigate pest complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor pest control inventory and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local health regulations and hotel policies.
• Conduct training on pest prevention and hygiene practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, Pest Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in pest control operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
