Tunduru District Council is seeking to fill 02 posts for Pharmaceutical Technician II.
Responsibilities or duties
- Identify, prepare and estimate requirements for medicines and medical supplies in the workplace.
- Dispense medicines and medical supplies to patients and clients.
- Mix and prepare medicines.
- Store medicines and medical supplies properly.
- Educate the community on the proper use of medicines.
- Receive medicines, chemicals, disinfectants and medical supplies.
- Provide information on adverse effects resulting from medicine use.
- Coordinate the activities of the hospital medicines committee.
- Prepare reports on the use of medicines and medical supplies.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections on medicines, chemicals, disinfectants and medical supplies.
- Perform various duties in medicine storage areas.
- Supervise subordinate staff.
- Maintain records for medicines and medical supplies.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor according to qualifications, experience and expertise.

Contract Pharmaceutical Technician II will be paid TSh 250,000 per month.
