Key Job Purpose.
To carry out sampling, sample preparation and analysis of raw materials (Rigid and Bottling), in-process samples of Water, Juice and Soft drink products from Syrup room, CO2, WTP, Rigid Products (Preform and Caps) Utilities (Boiler) and Production Line (L1&2) and Warehouse &trade samples.
Key Responsibilities.
- Ensure QA/QC standards are in place, understood, and followed.
- Train technicians and operators on established quality procedures.
- Calibrate and maintain equipment as per original standards.
- Inspect raw materials (PET, HDPE, sugar, etc.) before production.
- Highlight and escalate quality deviations for immediate action
- Conduct specialized analyses not covered by shift teams
- Support training and development for production teams.
- Identify and act on unsafe practices and conditions.
- Drive quality improvement through analysis, KPI tracking, and cost-saving in lab usage.
- Enforce safety regulations, PPE use, and housekeeping standards

- Proficient in using computer programs and digital tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of mental alertness and sound judgment.
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and accuracy
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in the beverage industry is an added advantage.
- Familiar with ISO Standards: ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
- Knowledge and use of SAP ERP system is beneficial.
- Experience with quality and safety management systems is essential.
