JOB DETAILS:

WELDER/FABRICATOR

Job Purpose

To fabricate, repair and maintain metal structures, machinery components, farm equipment and other workshop installations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform welding and metal fabrication work.
• Repair damaged machinery frames and components.
• Fabricate brackets, supports, gates and other structures.
• Interpret basic drawings and measurements.
• Use welding machines, cutting equipment and hand tools safely.
• Conduct grinding, cutting and finishing.
• Inspect completed work for quality.
• Maintain welding equipment.
• Follow workshop safety requirements.
• Maintain clean and organised work areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate in Welding and Fabrication or equivalent trade qualification.
• Practical experience in welding and fabrication.
• Ability to work with different metals and welding techniques.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
