JOB DETAILS:
TYRE FITTER
Job Purpose
To inspect, repair, replace and maintain tyres for vehicles, tractors and heavy machinery.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Remove and install tyres.
- Inspect tyres for wear and damage.
- Repair punctures where appropriate.
- Conduct tyre inflation and pressure checks.
- Perform wheel and tyre-related maintenance.
- Maintain tyre records.
- Monitor tyre condition and report replacement requirements.
- Maintain tyre-fitting tools and equipment.
- Follow safe lifting and tyre-handling procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Practical training in tyre fitting or mechanical maintenance.
- Experience with heavy-equipment and agricultural tyres is an advantage.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
