QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Experience: Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of industrial training experience (preferably in process industry).
  • Registration: Bachelor’s Degree holders must register with the Engineer’s Registration Board of Tanzania is mandatory.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Basic knowledge of sensors, transmitters, and control systems.
  • Eagerness to learn plant instrumentation and automation systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical ability.
  • Good communication and teamwork.
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters).
  • Help in calibration of transmitters, sensors, and controllers as per schedule.
  • Maintain calibration logs and service records.
  • Assist in configuration changes in PLC, DCS, and SCADA operations.
  • Assist in control valve sizing, logic testing, and loop checks, up verification.
  • Support the team during installation and commissioning of instruments and automation systems.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions promptly.
