Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Executive will be responsible for acquiring, retaining and growing corporate customer accounts, with particular emphasis on tyre sales and fleet business.
The role will drive revenue and gross profit growth through new customer acquisition, account development, customer relationship management, effective collections and delivery of exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and retain corporate accounts through planned customer visits, calls and dedicated account support.
- Recommend appropriate tyres and related products based on each customer’s fleet and operating conditions.
- Cross-sell complementary automotive products and services.
- Identify and onboard new corporate customers through market intelligence, prospecting and referrals.
- Achieve quarterly gross profit and sales revenue targets.
- Oversee credit control activities.
- Ensure accurate processing of customer transactions and payments.
- Build and maintain fleet profiles for existing and prospective customers.
- Monitor competitor activities and customer needs.
- Gather customer feedback and testimonials.
- Submit timely sales, activity and customer feedback reports.
- Contribute to sales forecasting and strategy development at the beginning and middle of each year.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of customer information.
Key Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline. A qualification in Sales and Marketing is an added advantage.
- At least 3 years of proven experience selling tyres in a corporate or B2B environment.
- A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and acquiring new customer accounts.
- Sound knowledge of tyre products and basic automobile mechanics.
- A valid driving licence.
- Computer literacy.
