Job Role Context

Van Mo Safaris is seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to support workplace safety, risk management and emergency preparedness across its operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should have:

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Risk Management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in tourism, hospitality, transport or a related industry.
• Knowledge of:
  • Workplace safety regulations
  • Risk assessment
  • Emergency response
  • Incident reporting
• A valid OSHA certificate.
• First Aid/CPR certification is an added advantage.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: associate degree
