Duties and Responsibilities

• To administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts, using radiation therapy equipment according to established practices and standards;
• To position patients for treatment with accuracy according to prescription;
• To enter data into computer and set controls to operate and adjust equipment and regulate dosage;
• To follow the principles of radiation protection for patient, self, and others;
• To maintain proper records, reports and files as required, including such information as radiation dosages, equipment settings and patients' reactions;
• To perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications

• Holder of Diploma in Radiotherapy, Radiation Therapy Technology from a recognized Institution. Must be registered with the Medical Radiology and imaging Professionals.
