JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary: The Port Operations Clerk handles the critical administrative and coordination tasks for vessel and cargo movements, ensuring accurate documentation and system updates.
Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify documentation for incoming and outgoing vessels and cargo (e.g., Bay Plan, Manifest).
• Coordinate with shipping lines, agents, customs brokers, and trucking companies.
• Input and update real-time data in the Terminal Operating System (TOS) regarding vessel operations and container status.
• Prepare and distribute work orders for stevedores and equipment operators.
• Monitor vessel berthing and sailing schedules.
• Track and report on vessel productivity metrics (e.g., moves per hour).
  Qualifications & Experience:
• High school diploma required; further education in logistics is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a port, shipping, or freight forwarding environment.
• Proficiency in using a Terminal Operating System (TOS) and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
