Duties and Responsibilities

• To keep and maintain patients’ records;
• To make casts and taking measurement as instructed;
• To fabricate various related appliances;
• To perform fitting of patients under the supervision and modification of defective appliance with the guidance of superior staff;
• To examine patients before undertaking treatment;
• To advise patients on how to use and maintain artificial limbs and body support devices;
• To ensure adherence to standard operating procedure and BMH business process;
• To perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Holder of Diploma in Orthotics/Prosthetics from a recognized Institution. Must be registered by the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
