We are looking for Operations Manager in Tanga, who will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operational activities of the factory including production planning, procurement, inventory control, logistics, distribution, and sales coordination. The role ensures efficient supply chain operations, timely deliveries, and smooth coordination between production, sales, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper coordination between procurement, production, and sales for uninterrupted supply chain flow.
• Ensure optimal stock levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Monitor warehouse operations and ensure proper storage and stock handling.
• Conduct regular physical stock checks for raw materials and finished products.
• Plan and coordinate production activities according to market demand in collaboration with sales and production teams.
• Ensure production schedules are maintained to meet orders and market requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs when required.
• Ensure consistent product quality and compliance with company standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper production and loading processes.
• Supervise loading operations and ensure correct products and quantities are dispatched.
• Manage transportation arrangements for local deliveries.
• Coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely supply to customers and distributors.
• Monitor daily sales operations and ensure sales teams achieve assigned targets.
• Participate in market visits and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment between departments to support operational efficiency.
• Ensure company policies and operational procedures are followed across departments.
• Monitor market demand, competitor activities, and product pricing trends.
• Monitor product quality standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly operational and supply chain performance reports.
• Provide operational insights and recommendations to management for business improvement.
• Stakeholder engagement and pushing for company’s vision

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, or Business Administration.
• Live or willing to relocate to Tanga region.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in operations, production management, or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics coordination, and production planning.
• Prior experience in management.
