Position Overview
CNS Group Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Nurse to join our team as a Site Medical Officer. The successful candidate will provide onsite medical care, occupational health support, and emergency response services for employees and contractors at construction or industrial project sites in Zanzibar.
This role requires a proactive healthcare professional committed to ensuring the well-being, safety, and health compliance of all site personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite medical care and first aid to employees and contractors.
- Monitor and manage occupational health and safety concerns at the worksite.
- Maintain accurate health records, reports, and medical documentation.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate external medical care when required.
- Conduct health assessments, routine wellness checks, and health awareness programs for employees.
- Advise and liaise with management on workplace health policies, procedures, and preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanian healthcare regulations and company health policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Valid registration with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council (TNMC).
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in construction or industrial site environments.
- Strong understanding of occupational health practices and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent communication, record-keeping, and interpersonal skills.
