JOB DETAILS:

Reporting To: Principal Investigator

Duty Station: NIMR Mwanza Centre (with regular visits to study sites)

Duties and Responsibilities

• To perform clinical examinations.
• To collect clinical data using approved questionnaires with electronic devices.
• To provide laboratory results to the participants where necessary.
• To perform spirometry tests and interpret the test results.
• To provide clinical care or referral of study participants when necessary.
• To perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification and Competence

• Degree in Medicine from a recognized institution and holding a practicing license from the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
• At least two years’ work experience in clinical research.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Kiswahili and English.
• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training.
• Computer literacy.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
