Minimum qualifications

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

• Computer Engineering
• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Telecommunications
• Equivalent related field

A Master’s degree or PMP certification is desirable.

Required experience

Applicants must have:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the fintech, mobile money, or digital banking industry.
• Experience in technology planning, delivery, or implementation.

• Demonstrable hands-on experience deploying or migrating core wallet platforms.
• Experience with the following platforms is a strong plus:

  • Huawei CPS
  • Equivalent core wallet platforms
• Proven track record managing at least one end-to-end core platform deployment or supplier swap as the delivery lead.
• Experience working across African markets, ideally in a multi-country environment.

• Understanding of OPCO operating models.
• Hands-on experience with architecture and planning of adjacent mobile money components, including:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading implementation activities across the full project lifecycle, from scoping and design through migration, testing, cutover, and stabilization.
