About the Position
CEVA Logistics is expanding its footprint in East Africa and is seeking a diligent and organized CFS Administrator to support Container Freight Station (CFS) operations in Tanzania.
The role is responsible for accurate operational documentation, timely system updates, records management and coordination with internal teams and relevant authorities to ensure accurate and seamless billing.
The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, responsive and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and process billing information for all services provided at the CFS accurately and on time.
- Verify operational records, including truck movements, equipment usage, labour deployment and storage activities, to support invoice preparation.
- Prepare, issue and maintain invoices, billing records and supporting documentation for both billable and approved non-billable services.
- Reconcile billing data and escalate discrepancies, omissions or missing charges for resolution.
- Liaise with Operations, Warehouse, Transport and Customer Service teams to obtain and validate billing information.
- Respond to customer billing enquiries and assist in resolving invoice-related issues.
- Maintain accurate billing files, reports and records in accordance with company procedures.
- Support revenue assurance initiatives by ensuring all eligible services are billed correctly.
- Ensure compliance with company billing policies, customer agreements and applicable procedures.
- Assist in preparing periodic billing reports and revenue tracking information.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Customs and Freight Forwarding, or a related field.
- Relevant training or certification in customs, clearing and forwarding, logistics or CFS operations is an added advantage.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in CFS operations, particularly billing.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Office, and operational tracking and billing tools.
Required Skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Numerical and analytical ability.
- Knowledge of CFS and logistics operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
