JOB DETAILS:

LAND SURVEYOR

Job Purpose

To conduct surveys, establish boundaries, provide accurate measurements and support planning and development of agricultural estates and related infrastructure.

Key Duties

• Conduct topographical and boundary surveys.
• Establish site reference points and benchmarks.
• Produce accurate survey measurements.
• Support land subdivision and development planning.
• Prepare maps and survey drawings.
• Use GPS, total stations, levels and other surveying equipment.
• Set out roads, irrigation systems, drainage and other infrastructure.
• Verify land levels and gradients.
• Maintain survey records and field notes.
• Coordinate with engineers, farm officers and land-development teams.
• Ensure survey data is accurate and properly documented.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics or related discipline.
• Relevant professional registration where applicable.
• Proficiency in surveying equipment and relevant software.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
