JOB DETAILS:

Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute (DMI) is seeking an ICT Officer II – Network. This is an internship placement programme aimed at skills enhancement. Completion of the internship does not guarantee permanent employment with the Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute.

Responsibilities or duties

• Design, install, and configure LAN and WAN infrastructure.
• Review LAN and WAN architecture.
• Test network equipment and devices.
• Implement network security plans.
• Perform network troubleshooting.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications or requirements 

• Bachelor’s Degree (NTA Level 8) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

   Result slips, testimonials, and partial transcripts will not be accepted.
6. Foreign Certificates
   Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure that their certificates are verified and evaluated by the relevant authorities, such as TCU or NECTA, as applicable.
