JOB DETAILS:

Background

Songwe Regional Referral Hospital is one of the Regional Referral Hospitals under the Ministry of Health, established in 2018 and governed by the 2018 Guidelines for the Operation of Regional Referral Hospitals. The hospital is located in Songwe Region, Mbozi District, Hasamba Ward. The hospital is in the Nsenya area, four (4) kilometers from the main road.

Responsibilities

• To clean work equipment, wards and the environment.
• To assist patients with disabilities and the incapacitated in going to the toilet (Urgent and Normal) and bathing.
• To help feed a patient who is unable to feed themselves.
• To take patient clothes to be washed.
• To take patient samples for laboratory tests and follow up on results.
• To transport patients between one department and another within the health facility.
• To take care of cleaning equipment.
• To prepare equipment for cleaning and dressing wounds.
• To follow up on medicine needs for patients from the drug store.
• To perform other activities assigned by your work leader.

Qualifications

Applicants should have completed Form Four with a certificate in Health Assistant or Environmental Health Technician training from a Government-recognized college. Those with a Diploma in Community Health will be given priority.

All applicants must be Tanzanian Citizens aged 18 and not exceeding 35 years.

• Birth certificate.
• Form Four education completion certificate.
• Form Six education completion certificate for those who completed.
• Academic certificate.
• 1 Passport photo.
• License from relevant councils.

Each applicant should attach a copy of the NIDA ID or NIDA number.

Submission of forged information and qualifications; the culprits will be taken to legal action.
