Main Duties

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for the IT department, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
• Manage and mentor IT teams across various teams including business applications, infrastructure, and software development.
• Oversee IT service delivery, ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices and continuous improvement.
• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery of IT initiatives within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Plan, manage, and monitor the IT budget, including cost optimization.
• Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across all IT platforms.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for innovation and digital transformation.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements.
• Monitor IT performance metrics and prepare regular reports for executive leadership.

Other Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience, with at least 2 years in IT management or leadership roles.
• Proven track record in managing IT portfolios, including infrastructure, applications, and software development.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of ITIL frameworks (certification required).
• Excellent project management skills with experience in agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Agile Project Management certification is an added advantage.
• Lean training is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget oversight.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on technical oversight.
