Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all students.
  • Guide and supervise students at all times, ensuring they follow rules, routines, and study schedules.
  • Promote and organize extracurricular activities and create a positive, family-like atmosphere in the boarding house.
  • Ensure students are neat, punctual, respectful, and well-prepared for all school activities.
  • Uphold safety, security, and child protection procedures, reporting and following up on any issues promptly.
  • Participate in meetings and trainings to improve skills and contribute to the boarding team.
  • Serve as a role model by demonstrating discipline, commitment, and care towards all students.

Qualifications:

  • Tanzanian with a minimum Diploma level in Education/Psychology.
  • Minimum of three (3) years in an educational related field.
  • Empathy for children’s needs and feelings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work overnight and over weekends when required.
  • Minimum age of 35 years to provide parental care to teenagers.
  • Proven medical or nursing experience is an added advantage.

Experience:

Minimum of three (3) years in an educational related field.
